I can clearly remember the first time I went into lush, It was when I was on a girly shopping day when I was around 14 and can remember thinking everything smelt so good and looked so colourful.
I remember thinking I’ve never seen a shop like this on the high street and ever since that visit I’ve been obsessed with LUSH products. Not just because they smell amazing and look lovely but also because I love the ethics that LUSH stand for. They are against animal testing, they buy all their products ethically, they are 100 percent vegetarian, everything is handmade and recently they have introduced naked packaging. Essentially naked packaging is LUSH’s new initiative to minimise packaging, by shipping all their products naked LUSH will be saving half a million cellulose bags a year! The packaging is still as tough and durable as it was before and still made out of 100 percent recycled material.
I currently live in Canterbury and whenever I go into my LUSH store the staff there are always welcoming and happy to help with any questions I have. The products are always displayed in a lovely way and it just makes the
whole experience of shopping a much more enjoyable one. LUSH have expanded their range since the days I started shopping there and have everything from bath bombs, to face masks, make-up, perfumes, shampoo and they also have spa’s around the country with LUSH treatments available. There is also a BIG store on Oxford Street with a range of exclusive products on offer. The prices are reasonable and affordable and personally I would pay that little bit extra knowing that it’s all ethically sourced and the right people are getting the right money.
Personally my favourite product that I’ve tried is the butterball bath bomb; I always have to have one on hand in my bathroom. Whether it is for a relaxing
bath or for any of my guests that also want to have that LUSH home experience, it’s always good to have an extra few bath bombs saved. The butterball bath bomb is just so moisturising and my skin always thanks me afterwards, I can always tell that my skin has had a good soak and is thoroughly moisturised after a bath using butterball.
