If you haven’t heard of Olaplex then let me quickly tell you what it is…. its a luxury hair care brand. I say luxury brand because of the price tag that comes along with these products. This is not your typical shampoo, lets just start by saying its £26 per bottle and thats for one bottle of shampoo!
They are pretty famous for their 3 step routine which is repair, protect, strengthen. These are the products that I decided to try out. They are unlike ‘normal’ shampoos as they work on a molecular level to repair broken bonds in your hair and help strengthen your hair. Something I noticed when using them is they don’t lather massively on your head, they do however smell AMAZING and have left my hair feeling stong and beautiful.
Personally I noticed a difference when using it consistently for about a month or so. If you are unsure what Olaplex prodcuts would work for you then you can take a test over on their website and they will recommend products that suit your hair trype and your hair routine. They have also just realsed NEW products for coloured hair AND Christmas sets which would make a great gift for someone.
SO….. would I buy these prodcuts again?! I was originally planning to write this post after using the prodcuts for a month, lets just say its been MUCH MUCH longer than that and I have already repurchased the shampoo AND conditioner. I haven’t repurchased the hair mask; I found I didn’t end up reaching for it as much as I would have liked and found that it sat on my shelf not being used. For the price you are paying for these products I would make sure you really like them.
If you have been using other brands and you are absolutely fine with how your hair is feeling and looking then I would say you don’t NEED to go out and spend £26 on Olaplex. Personally, my hair is a nightmare and a real insecurity of mine and I really saw a difference with the Olaplex prodcuts. For me, they are totally worth the price tag, but if you have been using other products and they work for you then keep doing what you’re doing. Live out all my hair dreams! I love your curly hair!!! I have felt my hair has been so damaged recently! And I feel like it needs a treat. Especially after having a baby and having so much fall out! I’ll give these a go 🙂

I am not happy with my hair products, however I feel like £26 is a bit outside of my price range especially if its per bottle. Would you recommend I purchase the shampoo or conditioner if I only wanted to purchase one of them? Would only 1 be effective?
