Midweek New Forest Mini Break

Hey guys,

I wasn’t going to upload this post but have been flicking through my photos on my phone and thought why not share some raw snaps from mine and Matt’s little mini midweek break? We stayed in Hinton in the East Close Hotel and it was lovely. I would go back there purely for the vanity (which I didn’t get a picture of) and the GORGEOUS bath; honestly, if you guys follow me on social media, then I spammed the heck out of that bath- it’s STUNNING.

It’s a very unique hotel and has some lovely features to it. I loved this little corner of the hotel that was just outside our room.

We wanted to go for a walk in the New Forest but it was SO wet and rainy that we just sat in the car for a bit and then we made a little friend in the pouring rain and this guy came right up to car window. I’ve got a hilarious video of Matt getting worried that he’s getting to close to the car. IT’S HILARIOUS.

In between snacking on some sweet treats and watching all the wildlife I managed to get a selfie in there!

Matt captured this shot of me trying to get a decent boomerang of the tide coming in and out at Highcliffe beach. I didn’t manage to get a good one and just gave up in the end.

Told you I was obsessed by this gorgeous bath!

The second day it was absolutely POURING with rain again and we had to find some shelter, so we visited Beaulie Palace House. There was some incredible pieces of art work there and the house itself is gorgeous. They had the fire going in the main dinning room and we warmed up there for a bit.

It was literally POURING with rain and we got soaked!

This was SO CUTE! The abbey in the grounds can be used for weddings and if you get married there you can put a padlock on this tree, I honestly LOVED the idea and spent ages EVEN IN THE RAIN looking through all the different names and dates.

We sheltered from the rain in the photo booth!

We stopped off in this little farm shop in Beaulieu and it was the cutest thing EVER! I just loved the way that it was all back to basics and supporting your local businesses.

I hope this wasn’t a boring post; I will just LOVE looking back at this in the future. If you have any recommendations of mini breaks then let me know because I would love to try out some new places.

Thanks 🙂 Yeah I really would, we didn’t have very good weather so we went to the Beaulie Manor house and abbey but in the spring/summer there would be loads of things to see and places to go.
