Doria Amaretti Biscuits

I’ve just picked up this DELICIOUS bag of Doria’s Amaretti biscuits, and what a perfect way to start off the weekend! Doria is an authentic Italian range that you won’t regret trying. These biscuits will only cost you around £1.99 for a considerable 250g bag, enough to share with a few friends or the perfect binge ;).

The biscuits are baked from wholesome ingredients like crushed apricot kernels which give it a scrumptious bitter sweet taste. Overall, you end up with a delightfully sweet flavour that will leave you wanting more. Mixed with the crunchy texture on the outside and a melt in your mouth chewy centre these Doria biscuits are such a lovely treat.

They can be enjoyed with a nice hot steaming cup of tea or coffee. In fact, according to Italian tradition, the best way to eat them is to dip them into a glass of red wine (the perfect way to unwind after a long and stressful day). If dunking is not your thing, another cheeky yet amazing thing you can do with these biscuits, is to crumble them on top of fruit, yoghurt or ice cream creating a wonderful almond flavour and an extra bit of crunch. Or! They could even be used as a substitute, for example, why not try these Amaretti biscuits in your rocky road recipes instead of marshmallows!

As you can see, I can’t get enough of these biscuits and I’m still finding new ways to incorporate them into my day to day life. Whether it be by baking, a tasty dessert topping or just a cheeky treat, you can’t go wrong!

Let me know what you thought of these biscuits and if you have come up with any other fun ways to use them.

Till next time,

Lydia
