Monthly Favourites- October Edition

Just thought I would share a few things that I’ve been absolutely loving this month- from beauty to food to candles scents, it’s all been getting me in the cosy autumnal/winter mood.

Lush- I’ve recently bought a large bulk of products from the Canterbury Lush store, which by the way has been re-arranged! So if you live in the Kent area and haven’t visited it yet, head down and have a look.  I bought a good few bath bombs (because who doesn’t love a good bath bomb?) and also picked up the yoga bath bomb, the butter bear, avobath, tisty tosty, and a French kiss.

Starbucks- I always love a good Starbucks drink but my love goes into overdrive in the winter months. The infamous Pumpkin spiced latte is the signature drink of the autumn and everyone always goes crazy for the red cups in the Christmas lead up (myself very much included). I’ve instagrammed a few red cups in my time!

Original Nivea Creme- This preservative free formulation provides your skin with all its needs, making this moisturiser an all-time favourite for many women. I’ve recently just finished this pot and have moved on to the sensitive version of this which is a little bit lighter on the skin. However, I have nothing bad to say about this version; it has left my skin hydrated but not sticky! I absolutely loved it and has now become my everyday moisturiser.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing water- I was introduced to this about two months ago (see previous blog post for full product details) and since I discovered this amazing product I can’t get enough of it! It’s the only thing I use now to remove my makeup. I also use it to cleanse my face in the mornings that I don’t shower.

Real techniques deep cleansing gel- This exclusive formula is designed to extend the life of your brushes by removing makeup, oils and impurities for a new brush feel. No alcohol or phthalates, detoxifies and purifies, it is quick and cleanses. This smells fantastic and it didn’t make my brushes feel stiff after drying! GREAT find!!

Real techniques ultra-pointed crease eyeshadow brush- Made of the finest synthetic hair, it is effortless to apply eyeshadow in one stroke either for a full lid or to create the perfect smokey eye. I love adding different shades to my eyeshadow into the crease of the eye lid and this was the perfect brush for me! So happy with it!

Morissons cinnamon- As you will know from my previous autumn post I am loving cinnamon at the moment; I add it to almost everything I eat at the moment. Porridge in the morning, yogurt with mixed berries as a snack, sprinkle some over stewed apples for that extra autumnal taste.

Accessorize Z range ring- Also mentioned in a previous blog post is this stunning ring from the Z range at Accessorize that I have been absolutely glued to since I bought it. I’ve worn it non-stop and it just goes with everything!

Tanya Burr individual lashes- I’ve never tried fake lashes before and these were the perfect introduction for me.I have very straight lashes so they are really hard to stay curled even using an eye lash curler and lots of mascara. Therefore adding a few of these to my top lid just pull the whole look together really nicely.

DW Scented Candles- I love candles all year round, but in the winter months everything gets a bit more cosy and with the days being shorter I love lighting candles and really setting the cosy mood. The candle in this picture was given to me as a gift by my older sister so it has sentimental value to it as well. The scent is rum and cranberry, which is getting me ready for Christmas. It’s from DW home, which make incredible hand poured candles.
